The Mommy Spot is Tampa Bay's premier website & events company for MOMS! You can find everything from summer camp guides to the best places to take the kids on a long weekend. As the assistant marketing coordinator, I run social and marketing campaigns that encourage moms to join and continue to make the Mommy Spot their go-to for finding the best information on how to raise and keep their family active and healthy.

While at the Mommy Spot, I wrote and edited over 50 blogs under the Mommy Spot name. The blogs had a range of topics, from things to do with children in Tampa Bay to products that make a mom’s life a little easier.
I was consistently in charge of updating our weekly blog post, “Things To Do With Your Kids This Weekend.” I conducted research and updated any correct related blogs and affiliate links.
Additionally, I edited all blogs to be SEO friendly by implementing optimized metadata and keywords for new and past blogs to boost efforts in ranking 1st on Google.

This is an example of an advertisement created to convince new moms in Tampa Bay to buy tickets to an online baby expo planned by the Mommy Spot called Modern Mommy, specifically prizes individuals could win if they attended the expo.
The video was properly sized for each social media outlet. The one to the left is properly optimized for Pinterest. This single ad reached 5,872 impressions.

The weekly newsletter is sent to our 1,642 subscribers and contains an individual message, recent blog posts, and friendly reminders. Friendly Reminders range from deals that are given to the public or specifically for Mommy Spot subscribers and any guides we have for moms, such as the annual summer camp guide.
